So I think both of you are new. These games usually have favored players getting ideal roles, so we can figure it out within a certain extent. It's possible they changed it up a bit. But Gumpy getting the doctor role seems to indicate Ed has not.
1: 38thDoe 2: Egos 3: Ringo- pretty likely. he has been in two of Ed's RP sessions. So he has probably been given a Powerful role (2nd tier or so.) 4: Rend- incredibly likely. He is always powerful and a favorite. 5: adventfalls 6: MaxFrost 7: Alegis 8: Balefuego 9: SeGaTai 10: HeavyVillain- very likely, a long time friend of Eds and has been in a number of his RP games. 11: Infidel- pretty likely. a favorite of Eds and a collaborator. There may be some oddities in that he worked on the game. 12: Phyphor 13: kuhlmeye 14: Dunadan019 15: kime 16: stever777 17: Gumpy- highly likely. As we've seen he is a favorite akin to Rend. 18: Sticks 19: Wiet 20: Munkus Beaver- fairly likely. Been in a number of Ed's RP games. 21: Langly 22: SLyM 23: Zay 24: Wildcat 25: Neli 26: Spoit 27: Fiaryn 28: Fidoh 29: LoserForHireX 30: TheLawinator 31: CaptainPlanet82 32: Peccavi 33: Trust 34: FecklessRogue 35: Marth 36: Teucrian 37: jackisreal 38: The Anonymous 39: warban 40: Stew_Stick 41: Melding 42: LemmingHead 43: mEEksa 44: Zellpher 45: Baidol 46: Heffling 47: Void Slayer 48: Solar 49: Monkeyfeet 50: Tayrun 51: Darian 52: Daius 53: Extermatott 54: Zandracon 55: Malkor 56: Rawkking Goodguy 57: Wandering Hero 58: El Skid
maybes- Rawkking Goodguy (popular in games), Alegis, MaxFrost (played in a forum game), Zandracon (has a forum rep), Lemminghead (has participated in past Phallakinetics like Alegis), The Lawinator, Phyphor, kime maybe (because it's kime and he has a rep).
This is in order of likelihood me thinks

This is either my 5th or 6th phalla, depending on if you count the other one I'm in right now that just started. I did go back and read through the other 3 previous ones, so yeah, particularly after 3 I'm guessing the roles aren't completely random.

Considering I got a similar role twice , I would say no I was in the other 2 mains so am fairly aware (I think they are mostly random for the people he doesn't have a specific role in mind for)

Regardless these games usually end up in "Big Name Players" networking up (this is helped by the fact that they usually have +++++hp ,masoned and have other abilities) and usually the village gets wrecked. And it's the BNP who does it the best who ends up triumphant.
So I guess it depends if we want to play that game .. which I'm not entirely sure is viable considering we are village. And as I mentioned village always has gotten screwed in these games. (save a few converts, but that isn't a option for us).

I dunno, it looks like alpha team might be masoned, beta team might be masoned, and we are too. If we can all get connected, that is a giant amount of people.

Last I checked..all of his games basically have everyone start in a masoned group. I should say with the lone exception of survival neutrals So it isn't saying much. And considering those two teams have to survive. They are gonna want to keep it rather tight lid. Considering how we work. There is probably a village seering group and a village vigi-ing force...I would assume.. Whereas Alpha and Beta are probably Team Awesomes. (e.g. they each have 3-5 members where one of them = 3 of us).

I should say there are a few people I could potentially reach out to, if you guys desire it.
Rend (though without the ability to be converted..I'm weary of this). Alegis (I've worked with a few times and shouldn't have much trouble talking to, but I don't know know how much power/contacts he'll have) HV (know him from the forum games kinda, so I might be able to talk to him..a bit iffy though) Ringo (we don't get along that well in phalla but I might be able to talk to him since this is sort of Phallakinetic territory..) Rawkking_Goodguy (likely has his fingers in every pot, could talk to him.) kime (similar but a bit more carefree, could try and talk to him) Phyphor (worked with him in the past and it was ok) Infidel( a tad intimidating, but if need be I could try and speak with him :I ) Gumpy (is a bit odd. He networks with you, but you usually end up taking orders. It's not so great. Not that different from other network heads, but it's sort of that way without a network head. Granted he doesn't have a bad attitude when he goes about it.. :I)
if any of those are of interest, let me know

I've spent 99% of my posting time in SE++, just recently started phallaing after playing one there, I assume you're going to have better judgement on who to trust here than I am. We can't really do much if we can't network with alpha and beta teams though, because 3 guards guarding themselves don't seem particularly useful unless the mafia spends their entire time only trying to kill us.
Edit:
Alpha team and beta team will probably try to network with each other at some point, if they try it in the thread maybe we can catch it and get them to trust us?

I doubt it , unless they were given odd fluff that can give each other a clue to who each other is. My guess is they work similar to games with two mafias. If they hit each other they get masoned together (depends on how many supporting good guys and potential bad guy neutrals there are). Probably the same happens with the Arcadian Order and Exigent (if they are both proper mafia factions). My guess would be they have a seer or they try to use an intermediary (ala Gumpy) - who they can test the loyalty of at the same time....

So assuming no epic reveals (laughable, I know) we'll just all defend each other tonight, right?
By tonight I of course mean whenever the hell day 1 goes about ending.

We'll probably get reveals along the lines of Gumpy, but I'm sure this is kinda faction-like as the past games. So it won't hold as much weight.
We should probably get a few things clarified about our abilities. But yeah that sounds ok for a default.

At this point , I'll guess that Fiaryn is part of a Ringo-esque kill squad.

Melding, Wiet and Langly are on our side. Melding is a healer, he had concerns about SLyM but I put him right, Wiet has damage conversion abilities, and Langly has a big-ass gun.
